Recovering from the Impact of COVID-19

The United Church of Sun City has partnered with health care specialist Kate Sawert to talk about recovering from COVID-19 on Tuesday, September 14th at 1:30pm at the church, located at 11250 N. 107th Avenue, Suite 105, Sun City, AZ.

Miss Sawert will address the disruption to our lives due to the COVID- 19 pandemic. She will also discuss coping strategies as well as opportunities for social interaction and community resources to deal with the pandemic. All are invited to attend!

United Church of Sun City grateful for technology grant

United Church of Sun City received a $5,000 grant from UCC’s Southwest Conference. UCSC will use the grant to upgrade microphones and purchase a new camera and controller, and other computer equipment which will be used for video streaming. This equipment will allow the church to expand its current online worship options to reach as many people as possible, retain our present congregation, and generate interest of new members. Thank you to the Conference for this grant opportunity.

In the face of blistering early summer heat—on one occasion the temperature on the roof was recorded at 128 degrees—MW Morrisey and their sub-contractors continue to astound us.
