Rev. Drew Terry, pastor at Oro Valley UCC, has some exciting news to share: He's been accepted into both the Next Generation Leadership Initiative (NGLI) and Candler early career programs.

NGLI is a 6-year UCC initiative seeking to empower the next generation of leadership and provide vitality to congregations. This involves twice a year intensive sessions around reflection, relationship building, community organizing, and concluding with a self-directed study.

The Candler program is a two year initiative with eight gatherings focused on in depth conversations about church and society. The program includes topics on race, immigration, conflict and peace building, human trafficking, homelessness and how today's church is called to serve.

Oro Valley leadership is on board and looking forward to the growth and journey ahead.
