The Feminist Book Club’s October 6th selection is Toni Morrison’s Beloved. The group meets the first Sat of the month at 10:30 AM at First Church Phoenix.

The DUET Family Caregiver Symposium will be held on 10/18, 9-1:30 at First Christian Church, 6750 N Central, Phx. The event is meant to equip, empower and celebrate family caregivers. Register by calling DUET at 602-274-5022.

Semi-annual Bake and Rummage Sale at Church of the Palms will be held on Oct 19th & 20th. Should be good “stuff”.

First Congregational of Prescott will be presenting a radio drama on Dec 5th at 7 PM called “Ebenezer Scrooge”. Should be fun. There will be tryouts for character voices and sound effects on 11/10 at 10AM!

United Church of Santa Fe is holding a family Halloween Night on Oct 19th at 5:30 with costumes, treats, game and pumpkin carving.

First Congregational of Albuquerque will earn some extra funds by working at the balloon fiesta merchandise tent two days in October

Beyond Autism will be leasing the Dosia Carlson Community Center, connected to Beatitudes, starting in January for a new school.

Rincon will participate in the Tucson AIDS Walk on Oct 14th. Their team will march in remembrance and honor of member Randy Decker.
