First Congregational of Prescott is offering an online class in compassionate, i.e. nonviolent, communication on Aug 25th.

Congregational Church of the Valley is welcoming a new Montessori school to its property this fall.

Black Mountain UCC took the summer to do a complete “Spring Cleaning” of its fellowship area, nursery, closets, and youth room. And it feels SO GOOD!

Four youth from the SWC (Desert Palm and Black Mountain) attended the Western Regional Youth Event, held this year in Hawaii. The event raised over $1400 for aid to Puerto Rico. 

Shepherd of the Hills is partnering with Project Humanities at ASU in hosting “A conversation on Gender and Violence: What’s Missing” on Aug 29, 6-8PM. Register to attend.

Youth at Scottsdale UCC are using a $100 grant plus congregation donations to prepare Blessing Bags that will be taken to the Faithful Witness AT the Border event on Aug 26th.

George Fratarelli, member at Beatitudes, is taking per-mile pledges as he begins a 500 mile hike. Proceeds will go to support Mission 22, a nonprofit helping fight veteran suicide, and the World Wildlife Fund. Click here to sponsor.
