It is with much regret that we must cancel a large portion of Common Ground on the Border this year. The Covid Task Force has decided that the emergence of the new Omicron variant, and all that is unknown about it, makes it necessary for us to make this decision. We simply do not have enough outdoor space to have all attendees safely in place for classes.
However, we will still offer the border lectures on Saturday morning (January 15). We will be able to have some present on our patio and we'll offer these lectures on Zoom as well. We will also be able to offer a concert on the patio at a time of day when temperatures will be suitable. In the time we have remaining before mid-January, it just isn't possible for us to put the entire event on Zoom as we did last year.
We will be refunding all pre-paid registration fees. We thank you for your patience as we make decisions intended to provide for the well-being of all.
