It's Shadow Rock's 50th birthday! If you were ever a part of Shadow Rock in any way—through the preschool or the church or the performing arts or the music program or the summer workshops…You are invited to Reunion of Friends Sunday on Sunday, April 30 at 10:15 with time for mingling, videos, food, and connection after the service.


It’s Movie Time!

—-Encanto Community Church is thrilled to offer four weeks of Cinema under the Stars this spring.  So, please come on the designated Fridays in March and April at the designated times, when will screen different family-friendly movies outdoors on our lovely front lawn. ECC will provide the snacks and drinks, and you bring your lawn chair or blanket. Admission is free!

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish on Friday, March 24, at 7 p.m.

Godspell on Friday, March 31, at 8 p.m. 

Wakanda Forever on Friday, April 14, at 8 p.m. 

Knives Out on Friday, April 21, at 8 p.m.


—-The Youth Group at Church of the Good Shepherd in Albuquerque is also sponsoring a movie night on Friday, March 10th, 5:30PM. The movie is Encanto! And everyone--kids, youth, and adults are all welcome.  The sanctuary features a new screen and projector which are great for movies.  And the church will provide pizza and snacks!

First Congregational UCC in Albuquerque is excited to support the newest Southwest Conference congregation, New Hope UCC of Phoenix, the Conference's first Black congregation. In order to support New Hope and their Pastor, Rev. Myra M. Taylor, in worship, First has offered to assist with their music program in honor of the history of Black music in its own church tradition. First will be accepting contributions for the next few weeks to help bolster New Hope's music program, including purchasing their music license. New Hope's first worship service will be held on Palm Sunday, April 2, and Pastor Myra has asked for our daily prayers as they prepare to launch.

Folks at Shepherd of the Hills are invited to stay after the service on Sunday, March 12th, to make Easter cards for their home bound members and for those who have moved out of the state. It’s a small way of showing them that they are remembered.  Plus, you can talk with your friends and chat with members you haven’t met yet as you create the Easter cards.
