Ann Utke's father, John Ringelstetter died peacefully at Sharon Richardson Hospice on Tuesday, May 10th following a lengthy decline. He was a tremendous supporter of his daughter and son-in-law and their ministerial vocations (as pictured after Bill's worship service at a previous church). John advocated for congregational hospitality and enjoyed meeting people. In his work as a mortician in a hospital setting, he often contacted ministers to request help with funeral services. He was especially known for a zany sense of humor -- you can ask Ann about John's tendency to underline random pew Bibles where the text says, "Thou shalt not eat pelicans...." John was a true Wisconsin original and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
