Arizonans for Wildlife

Grassroots campaign Arizonans for Wildlife is working to protect our state’s wild cats from extreme cruelty by prohibiting the trophy hunting and trapping of mountain lions, bobcats, ocelots, jaguars and lynx.

There are many different ways to get involved with this historic effort. You can learn more about  Arizonans for Wildlife here and sign up to volunteer here. To add your endorsement on behalf of your organization, click here. If you'd like to help the campaign as an individual, click here.

At the Humane Society of the United States, we have a nationwide faith outreach volunteer program comprised of hundreds of individuals around the country who are working within their faith communities to spread the message of compassion and mercy for animals. If you would like to learn more about that program,  click here.

You can also reach out to Deanne Thomsen, who manages the volunteer program, at dthomsen@hsus.org. (If you do reach out to Deanne, ask her to tell you her fascinating story about the mountain lion who purred when she spoke to him!)
