On Thursday, August 9, Arizona Faith Network will be represented on a panel to speak about DACA. The purpose for the event is to raise community awareness of the imminent legal threat to DACA. Please see here for more information.

In order to show the drastic consequences of a possible DACA repeal, the event will focus on how essential Dreamers are to local communities. There will be a discussion with allies from the Dream Act campaign including Dreamers, elected officials, faith, community and business leaders. In addition to explaining the legal challenges facing DACA, the discussion will focus on Congress’ disappointing inaction to pass bipartisan legislation that would provide a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers. The event will be open to media.
