Church of the Red Rocks shares wonderful news regarding Hope House:

The IRS has granted us our 501(c)(3) status! We are thrilled that we are now a not-for-profit organization and can accept donations as such. We are in the process of setting up a bank account separate from the church and are looking into the AZ tax credit.

In terms of property for Hope House, we are currently in negotiations for a piece of property in west Sedona. Before we can receive the grant funds, the property must undergo a 3-4 month environmental review. The City has graciously agreed to partner with us and purchase the piece of property if the negotiations proceed successfully. We will repay the City once we have received the grant money. We are thankful to the City for working with us in this endeavor. It has been a struggle since losing the previous property and the City is doing everything they can to help us make Hope House a reality.

It has been exactly a year this month since we started working on the grant application for the CDBG funds. Thank you for hanging in there with us as we strive to extend the reach of Christ into our community.
