How Do We Live Religious/Spiritual Lives of Integrity in a Time of Climate Systems Change?

A Special Retreat With Dr. Larry Rasmussen

What needed gifts do faith communities bring to climate action?

Together we'll explore spiritual practices that are ecological, ethical, ecumenical, and reflective of the sacred. We'll wrap them in prayer and ritual and ask how they intersect five areas that comprise a way of life.

Dr. Rasmussen is a distinguished professor, author, lecturer and a dear friend to New Mexico Interfaith Power & Light, and a member of United Church of Santa Fe.

A foremost Earth Ethicist, he served as the Reinhold Niebuhr Professor of Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary in New York for many years before retiring in 2004. He has published numerous books, including two landmark, award-winning volumes, Earth Community, Earth Ethics and Earth-honoring Faith: Religious Ethics in a New Key. In addition, he lectures widely and continues to teach seminary classes and offers his gifts to those of us in New Mexico.
