Even though we are staying home and keeping our distance, many of our CarePartners living with HIV still have basic needs and are requesting support. We’re providing emotional support and connecting people with referrals by phone. For people with HIV who are requesting CarePackages and food, we are using stringent precautions to still provide those items that we have as we work to keep our CarePartners, volunteers, and community safe. Can you donate any of the following requested items?

Critical Needs: 80 rolls paper towels, 80 all-purpose sprays, household cleaners, 80 dental floss, 20 packages maxi pads/pantyliners

Other Needs: Large laundry detergent/bleach, towels, pet food, treats, supplies, small microwave, coffee maker, baking dishes, other household items

If you have more than you need and would like to drop off any of these items at TIHAN’s office doorstep (no contact allowed—curbside only, leave name and we’ll mail you a receipt) during our (closed) office hours, it would be greatly appreciated. Remember that not everyone has transportation, mobility, money, or the ability to get to a store to purchase basic items. So with your help, we’re providing this limited support--involving just a few people (using masks, gloves, sanitizing measures, and drop-and-go procedures).
