Join #ChurchOut at Boycott Bar on November 4th for this year's #ChurchOut Open Mic Night! All night long they're inviting LGBTQIA+ Christians and people of all faiths to come and share your stories of life in religious spaces. The Open Mic is also for Open Expression! They're inviting all storytellers, musicians, singers, dancers and artists to share your story, no matter how you choose to tell it. The theme "We're Still Here" represents our determination and survival as LGBTQIA+ People of Faith in religious spaces.
“In pursuit of creating opportunities for compassion and understanding, #ChurchOut is a citywide open expression celebration on “coming out” in religious spaces. We’re inviting LGBTQIA+ Christians and people of all faiths to come and share their stories, songs and artistic expressions of their trauma and reconciliation of faith.”
