Church of the Beatitudes is launching something new. As a Progressive Christian community, Church of the Beatitudes has always been about progress. Now, in that same spirit of progress, Beatitudes Church is expressing itself in a new way with a major renovation to its 9,984 square foot Worship Center on the corner of 7th and Glendale Avenues.

These UCC churches and Interfaith Power & Light invite you to a free screening and community conversation of the film, Paris to Pittsburgh.

First Congregational UCC Albuquerque welcomes Valerie Griego, LMSW and the ABQFaithWorks Collaborative to their church campus. Pastor Sue Joiner has been working for over one year with pastors from eight other churches to form an alliance to better address the needs of people coming to their doors seeking help. Many responded to the call and generously gave money towards hiring a Social Service Coordinator.

Sunday, June 16, 2019 has become a historic day for our congregation as we voted to Call Rev. Michael T. Bush by a 100% majority as our new settled Senior Minister. Pastor Michael, as he prefers, is currently in his eighth year at the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge, PA and has now given his required 60-day notice. He comes to us with 25 years’ experience as a UCC senior pastor having served in four other churches on both coasts. He anticipates being relocated to Tucson and in the office in early September. Over 100 members and friends attended the afternoon Meet and Greet session with Rev. Bush on Saturday, July 15th.
