Summer Intern Needed: We are excited to provide an opportunity to a First Church connected college student or above who is looking for a 2 month opportunity to serve the church. This paid opportunity will provide a bridge of coverage until the new admin assistant arrives. Ideally, we'd like our Intern to start as soon as possible and work through the end of July or beginning of August.
If someone in your family or network is interested in this critical role supporting our amazing Pastor Susan, please contact Mike Kelly, Personnel Chairperson at osidewildcat@yahoo.com or 602-930-5592. We'd like to move quickly to fill this role, so please have interested candidates contact us now for immediate consideration!

This year (2021) beginning with the last Thursday of January and continuing for eight weeks, Desert Garden’s Gleaning Ministry Team was able to pick and provide much more citrus for St. Mary’s Food Bank. During this period twenty-one volunteers helped with the gleaning putting in 200 hours of time. Eighty-six trees were gleaned providing 17,720 pounds of citrus for the food bank, who then distributed that citrus to families in need. We are grateful to St. Mary’s for providing all the equipment to be successful in this effort.
