2024 Annual Meeting registration is OPEN!

2024 Annual Meeting registration is OPEN!

Join us April 25 - 27, 2024 at Shepherd of the Hills UCC in-person or online!

At the 2023 Annual Meeting, we heard you about wanting a more hybrid experience. So by popular demand, our 2024 Annual Meeting will be nearly 100% available BOTH online and in-person!

To accomplish this, we’re trying out an event platform, Whova. It’s handling our registrations, agenda, live streams, voting, and more!

We encourage you to register early (by March 17) to take advantage of the early bird pricing. You’ll be invited to download the Whova app on your mobile device to fully experience the Annual Meeting whether you’re onsite or remote.

UCC (WYRE) Western Regional Youth Event - June 23-27, 2024

UCC (WYRE) Western Regional Youth Event - June 23-27, 2024

New message from Sonja Haller:

We want to help connect churches in our conference that might be interested in attending. I know churches in other conferences who don’t have youth are also hosting fundraisers to help youth from their conference be able to attend (it’s expensive!) This is a great way for all churches to get involved and help make this a possibility for our youth. Wherever you are if you’d like to learn more about it, sign up to host a fundraiser, or just gather and see how you can support the youth of our conference please click on the link below and let us know your availability so we can find the best time to meet.

Protect Ministry Data and Computers: Important info from the Insurance Board

Protect Ministry Data and Computers: Important info from the Insurance Board

Cyber crime is on the rise, and cyber criminals love to seek out unsuspecting organizations. Safeguarding information can help deter theft, preserve privacy, and avoid lawsuits.

Everything from mailing lists and donation records to Social Security information to banking information may be kept in a church database or filing cabinet. Unsecured, this data and protected personal information, could make your attendees, donors, and employees vulnerable to thieves—putting both your ministry and them at risk. Carefully protecting data and information not only makes business sense, but it also can reduce the likelihood of crippling data loss, embarrassing public disclosures, and lawsuits.
