Staying in Touch Regarding the 2020 Census

From Jannah Scott of the U.S. Census:

My Dear UCC colleagues,

Greeting to Dr. Lyons and all of you!

It was really inspiring to see how connected you intend to continue to be in the midst of the COVID-19.

We would really appreciate the opportunity to stay in touch with you.

If there is anything we can do to help people remember to get counted in the 2020 census, there was never a more important time than in the midst of times like this.

We can help through virtual means like:

  1. Self response to the census is available at www.my2020census.gov. This website is compliant with ADA guidelines for ensuring visual accessibility.

  2. Phone lines are available in 13 languages, including English and TDD (see attached list)

  3. We at the Census Bureau are available to help people get the word out to their communities by virtual means, such as Facebook live events, video conference calls (we have Skype but are available to engage with your platforms), posts to social media platforms, e-newsletter inserts and video shares. Please see the links below for the ASL video, langauge guides and other videos available:

Let me know if there is anything more we can do to make sure we stay connected!!

Thank you!

Gratefully,
