Don’t miss this special event! David Leman, CRR's guest organist, will play a mix of secular and classical music on the piano and organ.
David began piano lessons at the age of six. He trained in Toronto under Albert Gerarro, whose students included Paul Helmer and Glenn Gould. David earned several awards and scholarships and at age twelve, he won a City of Hamilton open piano competition sponsored by the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.
He worked with Greene Music Inc., of San Diego for twenty-six years including six years as Director of Sales and Marketing and was recognized as Manager of the Year by Music Inc. Magazine in 2001. During his time in San Diego, David also worked with the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Opera and various colleges.
Sedona became David’s home upon his retirement in 2001. He is the Vice President of Chamber Music Sedona and also plays jazz music at local venues and private homes for a variety of occasions. Most delightful to Church of the Red Rocks, he is guest organist for their worship services.
