Many of the refugees from Central America are housed for a day or two in Tucson waiting for transportation to their sponsor’s home all around the country – in many places where it’s very cold! These men, women and children, even infants, need warm clothing, particularly coats and jackets. Most of them are diminutive, so the emphasis is on small and medium sizes for both men and women (and all children’s sizes). Casas Adobes is aiming to gather 50 coats in the next couple weeks to meet the need.
