Pastor Sue Joiner writes:

"On Sunday, we approved the 2018 budget and we voted to close the preschool at the end of the May 2018 school year. We are grateful for all the staff, volunteers, children, and families who have been a part of the preschool. We are forming a transition team to help us work through the closure of the school.

"We are entering a time of discernment as we listen for God’s call in the coming months. There will be opportunities to participate in this process and we hope you will join us. We have been invited to a workshop at Monte Vista Christian Church on Sun Feb 11th with Sandhya Rani Jha, the author of Transforming Communities: How People Like You are Healing Their Neighborhoods. I am planning to attend and would love to have some of you join me. I will put more details in the mid-week message.

"We will have small group conversations in the coming months. I encourage you to pay attention as you hear of needs in the community. I am asking you to pray with me so that we may hear God’s call."
