Lenten Labyrinth Program at Rincon UCC

Thursdays at 6 pm, beginning on February 14

At our Rincon Labyrinth on Ash Wednesday (February 14) 6pm, we gather with Pastor Delle to begin the season of Lent.  All are invited to begin this season as an intentional journey toward personal and collective wholeness.  In the spirit of "transformative journey," we will be offered the traditional "imposition of ashes" and also the "imposition of heartfulness."

Our Lenten Labyrinth Program is hosted by the Labyrinth Team:  a series of readings and conversations combined with contemplative labyrinth walks.  Members of the Team will provide a brief history and purpose of "Our Sacred Path."  Spiritual topics explored will include:  integrity, transience, courage, hope, belovedness, forgiveness, renewal.

ALL ARE WELCOME:  Non-walkers will be provided with "hand labyrinths."  Please invite friends and neighbors. The sessions will begin in Fellowship Hall, 6pm, and will conclude at 7pm on successive Thursdays:  February 22 and March 1, 8, 15, and 22.

Our Lenten Journey program concludes on Good Friday, March 30 when individual guided walks will be staffed by our Labyrinth Team from 4 pm-7 pm.

For those who prefer to walk at other times, the Labyrinth Team has provided an information pamphlet in the box at the entrance to the Labyrinth.  Let us walk together to invite wholeness and renewal into our personal and collective hearts, minds and souls.
