Taos UCC launches their Kickoff Service on Mar 18th at 10 AM at SOMOS, 108B Civic Plaza Dr, Taos, NM. Weekly services/gatherings thereafter. Check them out at taosucc.org.

Desert Palm is sending youth to the DC March for Our Lives on March 24th. Many other churches will participate in local Marches. Who else is sending youth?

United Church of Sun City has initiated an Open And Affirming study!

There are two vessels filled with sand at the front of the sanctuary at Church of the Palms. Worshipers are invited to come up before or after service or during hymns to light a candle, place it in the sand and say a prayer.

In the Souper Bowl competition between United Church of Sun City and Church of the Palms, the Silver Ladle has been passed to UCSC! Together, the two churches collected over 6000 food items.

Church of the Palms will unite with the LGBT Clubs of Sun City, Sun City West, and Sun City Grand in an entry in the Phoenix Pride Parade on April 8th.

United Church of Angel Fire delivered blankets, jackets, and knitted hats to the local Men’s Shelter and HEART of Taos shelter for women and children.

Volunteers from Church of the Red Rocks are building homes for 2 Guatemalan families this week. The church collected about $2000 to help cover supplies.

Scottsdale UCC hosted UCC pastor Rev. Patrick Bentrott, Exec. Dir. of The Foundation for International Development Assistance last Sunday. Rev. Bentrott spoke of his 10 years serving in Haiti concentrating in agriculture and literacy training.

Black Mountain UCC delivered over 400 pounds of food to the local food bank after their Community Service Sunday.

Desert Garden assembles “curbside caring bags” for members to take and distribute to those they see in need.

Church of the Good Shepherd in Albuquerque collects loose change on Sundays from worshipers and donates the funds to CASA Q, a transitional homeless shelter for lgbtq youth.

Casas Adobes will celebrate “Holy Humor Sunday” on April 8th where Rev Len Silvester will answer questions submitted by parishioners (interspersed with the kind of humor only Len can provide).

First Church Phoenix encourages everyone to contact our state’s senators to enact DACA legislation that provides a path for citizenship.
