We hope that attendees at Annual Meeting this past weekend had a chance to stop by and visit Taos UCC's table in the fellowship hall. Below, Rev. Pamela Shepherd shares what's happening with them in the coming weeks:

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one...

Please join us this week for Taos UCC community building and community celebration.  Also, it's time to join us in launching the Poor People's Campaign in New Mexico!  Together we live as People of Hope and People of Courage as we live as People of Faith. In a world where so much is so broken and wrong, we gain courage and hope  in community.

Wednesday April 25th at SOMOS, 108B Civic Plaza Drive

4:30 pm  Centering Prayer Meditation. 20 minutes of simple meditation. All Are Welcome!

5:15 Wednesday study group: Allen Ferguson leading. War as an international crime against peace.

Sunday, April 29th, 10 am Sunday Celebration Worship, SOMOS, 108B Civic Plaza Drive.  We'll be teaching and singing the songs of activists for the Poor People's Campaign. Rev. Pamela Shepherd preaching, A New Earth.  All Are Welcome!

Sunday, April 29th, 2-5pm, Mobilizing for the Poor People's Campaign!  Meeting at First Presbyterian Church in Taos next to Kit Carson Park.  Calling all singers, music-makers, poets, artists, activists, dreamers, and YOU, who long for a better world. Another world is possible. Another world is breaking out right here!

Tuesday, May 1st, 5:30-7pm, Improv for Activists!

Taos Medicine Improv, in partnership with Taos UCC, is offering a special training for activists preparing for direct action in the Poor People's Campaign. First Presbyterian Church. Learn to unleash more flexibility, playfulness, and courage as we prepare to participate in creative resistance. All activists welcome. 

Sunday, May 13, 2-6 pm  Art & Music for the Movement! Meeting at FIrst Presbyterian Church. Theo-musicologists for the Poor People's Campaign are coming to Taos to teach us to sing the music of the resistance! We will also be making signs and banners, and unleashing our creativity and our passion as we prepare for the next day's kick-off of the Poor People's Campaign! 

Monday, May 14th, Activists Meet at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe. Holy Mischief Begins!  Stay tuned for details
