Scottsdale UCC is honoring and celebrating its 80 and 90-something’s on April 29th. 

Rev Michael Dowd, an eco-theologian and pro-future evangelist, will be the Scholar-in-Residence at the Beatitudes Campus during April. He will present a series of lectures and speak at several churches during his stay.   

Rincon UCC will celebrate with its pastor, Rev “Dr” Delle McCormick, as Delle receives her DMin on May 10th. 

Oro Valley UCC will likewise celebrate with their Interim Pastor, Rev "Dr" Alberta Wallace as she receives her DMin on May 11th.

Church of the Red Rocks is holding a series of adult education classes on “Cultural Literacy”. The April sessions will be on Hinduism, thought to be the world’s oldest living major religion with nearly a billion adherents. 

In that same spirit, Taos UCC is studying the book “Living Buddha/Living Christ” and exploring Christian Faith through a Buddhist lens. 

Church of the Palms is hosting a lecture by tess julianna on April 16th, 6 PM. tess is transgender and will discuss her life’s journey. “Through understanding can come acceptance. “

First Congregational of Prescott is hosting a presentation on April 18th at 6:30PM from three DACA students who will tell their stories.   

Encanto Community Church hosts Friday night “Cinema Under the Stars” through April and May at 8 PM. You bring a lawn chair or blanket and the church provides the movie and popcorn!  Movie for April 13th is Ratatouille.  

Church of the Good Shepherd in Albuquerque has adopted a section of highway and has regular clean- up parties!

Shepherd of the Hills hosted a blood drive that collected enough blood to save 63 lives. 

Shadow Rock is hosting a video series from DUET on Tuesday’s from 9-12 beginning April 24th. Titled “Finding Meaning and Hope,” the series focuses on family caregivers.

Alberta Wallace has been called as the interim for Oro Valley UCC

Donna Cavedon has been called as the interim for First Christian/Las Cruces, NM. 

Barbara Herber has been called as long term supply pastor for Desert Heritage UCC

Jeanna Kozak was ordained and installed as chaplain for Mayo Clinic on Feb. 18.
