United Church of Sun City declares we ALL are precious in God’s sight. John 13:34
states: “I give you a new commandment that you love one another. Just as I have
loved you, you should also love one another.”

We, the United Church of Sun City proclaim as our Open and Affirming Covenant
that we embrace an inclusive love of Jesus Christ regardless of ability, age, race,
nationality, economic or social status, spiritual or religious traditions, marital
standing, family structure, ancestries, mental, emotional or physical abilities,
ethnic group, faith backgrounds, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or
whom we love. We believe that Jesus Christ loves all people and offers us gifts in
our diversity.

We commit to encouraging all who seek to follow Christ to participate in the
fellowship, worship, ministry, leadership, celebrations and responsibilities of our
church family. No matter who we are, or where we are on life’s journey, all are
welcome at the United Church of Sun City.
