Scottsdale Congregational United Church of Christ invites everyone to join us in a celebration marking 20 years of LGBTQ inclusion as an Open & Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ. The event will include refreshments, live musical entertainment, children’s activities, and more.

SCUCC updated its constitution in October 1998 to welcome persons of all sexual orientations into the full life and ministry of the congregation. We were one of the first mainstream Protestant churches in the Phoenix area to do so. On September 9 of this year, we unanimously approved a new, bolder statement that extends that welcome and affirmation to all transgender persons as well. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here! Come, bring your friends and your ONA swag, and celebrate with us!
