The Creation Care ministry at Rincon UCC will show “Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution,” a documentary that explores many forms of energy and the viability of the various energy options. It does so with humor and hope, giving viewers information and insight into how we can help create a more sustainable world by our individual and congregational choices and by communal advocacy. After the viewing, we’ll kibbutz about what we learned.

Climate change is one of the foremost, if not the most prominent, challenge facing our human family and all our relations on this Earth. It’s clear that time is short to turn around the havoc we’re wreaking on the climate and therefore on all living things, including ourselves. And, as people of faith and moral conviction, we have a vital role to play in nurturing God’s good creation in this critical time. Do join us on January 30 to learn and be inspired!
