First Congregational UCC in Albuquerque will vote at its Jan 27th Annual Meeting on whether to become a Sanctuary Church.

Church of the Red Rocks will start a book study on Fridays at 10:15 to read Paul Knitter’s “Without Buddha I Could Not be a Christian”. Even if you aren’t in Sedona, sounds like an interesting read.

The Rio Rancho, NM clergy group is expanding and will be offering its first interfaith worship service on MLK weekend. St Francis Episcopal will host the service at 4PM on Jan 20th.

Family Promise, a mission of many of our churches, is in need of washable twin blankets. Help your church figure out how to collect some. 

Rincon’s Creation Care team will present a Movie Night on Jan 30th at 6:30 to view “Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution.” The film explores various forms of energy and the viability of energy options.

Church of the Red Rocks will host it’s first fundraiser of the year with a Chili Cookoff on Jan 11th at 4PM. Proceeds go to the ConstuCasa project in Guatemala.

Support Tempe Empty Bowls! Paint a bowl from Jan 19-21 at any As You Wish for $10 and donate it to Empty Bowls, where it will be sold to raise money to fight hunger. 

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Shepherd of the Hills on Sunday, January 13 from 8 a.m. to noon.
