The Goshen College Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra will be performing a program "All of Us: A Song of Gratitude" at 7:30 PM on Monday, February 25 in the First Congregational UCC Albuquerque sanctuary as a part of their 2019 Southwest tour. First Congregational is partnering with neighbors up the street, the Albuquerque Mennonite Church, to sponsor this performance.

The music program at Goshen College is well-known for its outstanding ensembles and dedication to the arts. The group will be coming from Goshen, Indiana to share their rich tradition of choral and instrumental music. Both the Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Debra Detwiler and the Chamber Orchestra directed by Dr. Jose Rocha will perform separately and they will also combine for several selections including the Te Deum No. 2 in C by Joseph Hayden and All of Us from Considering Matthew Shepherd.

The concert program is a collection of music that expresses gratitude and welcome to all. Striving to affirm the power music has to transcend time and place bringing all together in the spirit of acceptance. You are cordially invited to join us for this special concert event.

The Goshen musicians and chaperones need a place to stay that night. If you could provide a bed, breakfast the next morning, and a ride back to the Mennonite church by 8:00 AM the next morning, please call or text Ruth Striegel at 505-249-0083.
