Church of the Painted Hills SPEEDWAY CLEAN TEAM : Nancy, Marlis, Sally, Carol, Carol, and Dan.

The CPH Clean Team was out once again,

We each put on vests, grabbed a grabber with trash bag,

Picked the garbage up and our bags start to sag.

Cars honk as they pass by with their thumbs up,

As we pick up each bottle, napkin, and Polar Ice cup.

Two pedestrians walked by and gave us their gratitude,

All the thanks we get, keeps up our attitude.

With just six people, we clean the whole mile,

Both sides of Speedway will be clean for awhile.

Next month we'll again need to meet,

To pick up the trash that gets tossed on the street.

Please join us 7:30 a.m. on March 9,

It's great time to be outside and doesn't take much time.

(The poetry might be a bit shaky, but the energy was super! Thanks, CPH, for the good work and dedication!)
