It’s official! Seventy-six members of Rincon voted to support the motion sponsored by Church Council that space be leased to Interfaith Community Services (ICS) to enable them to provide employment, housing and food assistance to our neighbors in need.

It’s a blessing! The agreement between ICS and Rincon extends the services they provide into our part of town at a rental cost to them of $1 per month. And Rincon will have the opportunity to help our neighbors by working with ICS in many ways in the coming months and years.

We are grateful! Thank you to members who attended the Zoom meeting and all who voted. It takes extra effort to stay connected to Rincon in these challenging times and you are all appreciated. And we want to especially thank the members of the team who worked so hard to shepherd this endeavor: Nancy Congdon, Amanda Goodenow, Erik Johnson, Chris Jones, Dave Stone and Kathe Padilla. And to Rev. Seth, Larry Schloss and Shawn Shelby for their support.
