Bring your furry friends for a blessing from the Pastors, along with a donation of pet food, pet toy, or pet bedding that we will donate to the Humane Society of Arizona.
Tuesday, October 20th at 2:00 at Church of the Red Rocks UCC Sedona
Bring your fur-babies (or other family critters) by to be blessed by Pastor Cindy! 2020 has been an usual year in many ways, so we are trying something different for the Blessing of the Animals!
Drive up the entrance to the church (1st entrance where our sign is) and circle around the tree (on the building side of the tree). Pastor Cindy will be in front of the office entrance area. Drive up to her! Roll down your window and she will give the loving blessing to your babies, and you will receive a certificate for them!
Sunday, October 18 from 9 to 10:30 am at Church of the Palms UCC
Church of the Palms is holding a Drive-up Pet Blessing in the church "barking lot." Load up your pets into your vehicle and bring them to the church. You don't need to disemBARK your vehicle; our masked pastor will meet you along the sidewalk for the blessing.
All Creatures Blessing Sunday, Oct. 11th from 9:00 to 10:30 am
Casas Adobes Congregational Tucson is having a safely distanced “drive-thru” blessing of all creation in the church parking lot. This year, use your car to bring your pets if you have them, or bring yourself, for a safe, distanced, masked blessing from Pastor Michael or Pastor John. In addition to getting a blessing you can be a blessing by safely dropping off donations for the Kino Border Initiative in the collection box. This is our community event for the fall. Come see God with Us, present even in the darkest places and rejoice, like Francis, in the goodness of creation.

First Congregational UCC Albuquerque will offer an online Blessing of the Animals, in honor of the birthday of St. Francis. Bring your pets to the screen Saturday anytime between 10 – 11:30 am for a blessing. Check with the church for the Zoom link.

St. Francis Weekend “Drop-by Outdoor” Pet Blessing at United Church of Santa Fe
All kids of all ages (and their parents) are invited to the outdoor Pet Blessing on St. Francis weekend. Pets need to be leashed or in a crate. People need to be masked. All welcome!
Members of Scottsdale UCC sent pictures of their pets to be used in September 27's worship service titled "All Creatures Great and Small." The service was led by the youth and included a pet blessing all in honor of Earth Day 2020. Pictures also served to introduce members' pets to the congregation.
