Music has been an integral part to the life of this church. With the pandemic, our historically Eurocentric program closed. Now that we are again meeting in person, we have an opportunity to honor our traditional past and also add to it by redeveloping and restructuring our program into one that will allow us to live more faithfully into our covenant of hospitality. We take this covenant seriously - a pledge to “journey with” one another – not an expectation of conformity to the whole. We offer one weekly service on Sunday mornings that is both an in-person and on-line experience (hybrid).

With that in mind we are looking for an individual who:

Is a big picture thinker who can partner with others to create, develop and expand our musical offerings.
Will work collaboratively with the pastor, accompanist, and the Worship, Music and Arts (WMA) team to curate the musical experience for the congregation.
Is committed to the work of fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in the music program.
Has familiarity with copyright laws
Has familiarity with relevant computer software programs
Can engage with the community at large to promote the knowledge of and practice of singing
Will participate in budget development
Will comply with personnel policies including COVID 19 restrictions in place to maintain the health of the community
