Rebecca McElfresh has been approved by the Committee on Church and Ministry ‘A’ to take the next step toward ordination. Congratulations, Rebecca!

The Good Shepherd will host an Ecclesiastical Council on the afternoon of Sunday, December 1 at 3 p.m. to which all are invited. A reception will follow the Council in the Redman Room.

The Southwest Conference United Church of Christ Bylaws state that a quorum shall consist of: a simple majority of churches in the geographic area, up to six, and as wide a representation of clergy with standing in the Southwest Conference as possible. All churches in the Southern Arizona geographical area have the responsibility of sending delegates to the Ecclesiastical Council. All Clergy with standing in the Southwest Conference, Delegates, and Churches are encouraged to participate in this event.
