Having spent most of her 30+ year ministry being shaped by the “church growth movement,” serving churches of under 100, and, almost always, successfully growing them down to a faithful remnant…Barb has grappled with this question, with great lament, many times!

This workshop will explore how God is indeed present, and can be found – with power and blessing for both individuals and congregations, in the midst of certain, common transformational spaces of experience. Regardless of whether the institutional structure of “church” is increasing, diminishing, or on a plateau, these transformational spaces are fertile ground for spiritual growth and deepening.
