Taizé Morning Prayer now on YouTube!
We’re now livestreaming Taizé Morning Prayer with the ONA Family on the Coalition’s YouTube channel for the convenience of those who cannot join us at 9 am ET on Zoom. With Taizé chant, silence, scripture and prayer, this service modelled on ancient traditions of Christian daily worship will help you begin the day “with your mind stayed on Jesus.”
Correction: resources for Transgender Day of Remembrance
The latest edition of RIPPLES provided a link to a list of transgender people who have died in the past year, but the list was out of date: we've provided an updated list below, along with links to worship resources. Open and Affirming churches around the country will be honoring these names when they gather for worship on Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), Sunday, Nov. 20. We recommend reading each name aloud after the sermon, accompanied by the ringing of a bell or a Tibetan singing bowl. In this time of escalating hatred against our transgender and nonbinary members, TDOR in 2022 helps us hold the endangered transgender community close to our hearts and renews our commitment to advocate for equal rights and safety from harm.
