Pilgrim Pines Camp in southern California is one of the nearby UCC camping programs for which the Southwest Conference will offer 1/3 camp scholarships to anyone who would like to go.
The early bird registration deadline is May 21, prices go up after that. Campers don't need to pay the full registration fee by then, just register and pay deposit to secure their spot and the lower fee. Here’s the link.
Pilgrim Pines has sent us this message of welcome:
The Pines' Summer Camp is fast approaching and excitement amongst staff and supporters couldn’t be higher! This summer we will be exploring the idea of radical dreaming. Radical dreaming is an opportunity to visualize the future that we want to live in, and harness the necessary tools and resources to actively move that dream toward a reality.
Our Summer Camp hosts 4 weeks of programming during the month of July for a variety of ages each with its own theme including Seed to Sequoia Nature Camp, Creative Expressions Camp, & Rainbows & Justice Camp. Week 1 will consist of two half week long intergenerational camps for families and our Counselor in Training program for campers ages 16-19. Weeks 2-4 will consist of week long programming for campers of school age and adults, or youth, with special needs who we affectionately refer to as Pinesters, Pinecones, & Seedlings.
Please let any families within your congregation and/or community know that may be interested and spread the word. Registration for these upcoming camps can be found on our website at pilgrimpinescamp.org along with more information including prices, camperships, & Covid-19 policies.
