SWC staff Dr. Toni and Wende attended the Arizona Disciples of Christ annual women’s retreat in Prescott this past weekend. They enjoyed it immensely and hope to have many SWC women participate in 2024 when Dr. Toni will be the keynote speaker!

“The wild west if women had been in charge” was the theme of Saturday night’s activities. DOC Regional Minister Rev. Dr. Jay Hartley was a guest and got roped in, quite literally, to be a cow.
It was a time for great fun and fellowship and also for connecting to faith and creation.
Dr. Toni led the invitation to Communion and prayed for the elements.
Wende led the singing each day.
Rev. Katie Sexton (of Arizona Faith Network) was the retreat leader and created an amazing experience for all.
