Since 1972, the Open and Affirming Coalition has been a leading voice for justice and inclusion within the United Church of Christ and the broader Christian community, advocating for a church where all are truly welcome and affirmed. We’ve helped nearly 1,900 churches become Open and Affirming, advocated tirelessly for LGBTQ+ rights, and addressed the intersections of oppression and justice. Today, as we face new challenges—such as attacks on trans youth and threats to healthcare access—we need your support to continue this vital work.
That’s why we’re inviting you to be part of something powerful with our Justice 100 Campaign. This is a call to action for our entire community to unite and make a real impact this fall. We’re seeking at least 100 people, churches, or organizations to each recruit 10 others to give at least $100 to the Coalition. Together, we can raise over $100,000 in new funds to support the Coalition’s work.
Joining the Justice 100 is simple. You can sign up to lead a team, rally your community, and help us reach our goal. Or, if leading a team isn’t for you, you can simply make a donation to our cause! Every dollar raised will go directly toward making our church and world more just and inclusive for all people.
