The Reverend Joyce Blair Buekers received the prestigious Guardian of Peace Award from the International Confederation for Peace in Assisi, Italy on April 27th, 2019.

Joyce, a successful business owner and philanthropist based in Phoenix, accepted the award on behalf of the Therapeutic Harp Foundation that she founded in 2000 and now serves over 27 healthcare institutions, hospices, and hospitals, and in 2018 served over 160,000 people.

Every Peace Ambassador promises to continue their efforts to be an example of respecting social values and human rights in order to give everybody the hope that it is possible to create a better world.
