Arizona citizens – young, old, of all nationalities and of varying Valley organizations – take part in a march symbolic of King's 1968 march. Led by City officials and community dignitaries.
The 2020 MLK Celebration is a long-standing tradition of the Arizona Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee, with a series of events honoring the life and legacy of Dr. King. The week-long celebration includes the MLK Celebration Awards & Scholarship Breakfast, Candlelight Ceremony, Community Service Day, MLK Annual March & Festival and Youth Rally.
Arizona Faith Network will be participating in the MLK March & Festival, which begins at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church on 15th Street /Jefferson Street and ends at the east end of Margaret T. Hance Park (116 E. Moreland St).
Assemble at 8:30 AM as the March begins promptly at 9:00 AM. The event is free of charge.
