Dear Pastor Rock,

It is with a joyous heart that we have received your Church’s donation of $4253.14. This as well as many other donations will help our asylum-seeking brothers and sisters from around the world, as they patiently await their opportunity for a credible threat interview here in Nogales as well as at other Ports of Entry here along the Arizona border.

Along with your donation and those of others we can continually assist all of those in our community of Christ with shelter, meals, medicines and all their basic necessities to exist. Specifically, your donation will allow us to purchase much needed mini-split heaters to also now allow us to provide warmth to our residents in these colder months approaching us. We can truly show as followers of Jesus that all people are equal, and we are all of one God, and care for one another no matter where we have traveled from to reach our borders.
