Casas Adobes UCC had a prayer service for peace in remembrance of the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended WWI. Members of the congregation gathered after 11am with the Sunday school children gathered around the campus "Peace Pole" for a prayer service led by Pastors Len Sylvester and John Angiulo. Prayers were offered for humanity to recommit to world peace. Flowers were placed around the pole in the memory of all people around the world who are victims of violence and war and to affirm our personal commitment to being peacemakers.
