Rincon Congregational UCC in Tucson is pleased to offer the workshop Beyond Binary: Trans & Non-Binary 101 led by Dax Franklin-Hicks.

People have two opportunities to attend: Monday, June 13th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm or Saturday, June 25th from 2pm - 4pm.

This workshop will consider the differences between sex, gender, and sexual orientation. We will learn about terminology, pronouns, health disparities, medical transition, and ways for faith communities to deepen their welcome for trans and non-binary people.

Trainer Bio: Davin “Dax” Franklin-Hicks is an LGBTQIA+ health educator and has conducted over 250 workshops for health care providers, social service organizations, and faith communities throughout Arizona. He speaks from his own lived experience of rejection and acceptance in faith community as a queer and transgender person. Dax is a member of Rincon Congregational UCC in Tucson, Arizona.
