I found what follows so creative, so caring, so inspiring---so indicative of the spirit of community at our Beatitudes Campus—a true day brightener that I wanted to share.”

Read MoreMichael-Ann Veziroglu & Family Tribute
To express their gratitude and to honor Michael-Ann and her family before they depart, it is the hope of Desert Palm UCC to gather after worship on June 7th or, if that isn’t possible, to shower her with virtual love.
Marc Gaston is creating a video montage of the Desert Palm family thanking Michael-Ann and her family and wishing them the best on their new adventure. For this compilation, create a 10-15 second video on your phone and email it to him at mgaston57@gmail.com. This will be a wonderful gift that Michael-Ann and her family can watch and remember our love for them.

Read MorePeople of the Passion: Maundy Thursday at First Congregational Prescott
Maundy Thursday, April 9, at 5:00 p.m. at First Congregational Church Prescott, 216 E. Gurley Street, Prescott, AZ 86301
People of the Passion is a series of nine dramatic monologues which connect our experiences and our feelings with the people of the Gospel, the people who met Jesus in the flesh, and who were changed by that experience. Until now we have seen and heard these people at a distance, and we assumed we had nothing in common with them.
The playwright, Mary Betten, takes us in for a close-up. She tells us stories, as Jesus did, and as we interpret these dramatic moments, the gospel narrative can come to life in a new way.
