“While most of our 600-plus residents at Beatitudes Campus are in independent living and while it is an adjustment for all of us to follow the protocols of staying in, it is particularly challenging for folks in healthcare centers or in hospitals who cannot see their families.  I found what follows so creative, so caring, so inspiring---so indicative of the spirit of community at our Beatitudes Campus—a true day brightener that I wanted to share.”

To express their gratitude and to honor Michael-Ann and her family before they depart, it is the hope of Desert Palm UCC to gather after worship on June 7th or, if that isn’t possible, to shower her with virtual love.

Marc Gaston is creating a video montage of the Desert Palm family thanking Michael-Ann and her family and wishing them the best on their new adventure. Diane Van Deurzen and Lisa Otey, musicians at The Good Shepherd UCC in Sahuarita, are offering free lunchtime concerts from their living room on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 pm. They do have fun. Remember to request a song.

The Board of Directors of First Christian Church in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is thrilled to announce that at a properly called Congregational Meeting today, Sunday, March 15, 2020, the Congregation of FCCLC unanimously elected Rev. Bethany Meier as their new Pastor!
