Debby Stinton has been approved by the Committee on Church and Ministry 'A' to take the next step toward ordination, which is an Ecclesiastical Council. It will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, June 14 via Zoom.

Here's some information about the process:

Debby will be introduced and offer a brief statement on her spiritual journey and sense of call to the United Church of Christ.
During the Question and Answer portion of the Council, attendees may ask questions in the chat section. The comments will be monitored by one of the leaders (panelists), who will then ask the questions to the candidate. Webinar attendees do not see anyone else except the video-enabled panelists.
Once the candidate is excused for the deliberation portion, attendees may use the "raise hand" feature and unmute themselves to ask their question or make a statement.
For the voting - only the registered voters (three from each SWC church) may cast a vote.
