The Southwest Conference has signed onto the PRO Act initiative which passed the House in March and is now before the Senate.
The PRO Act is the most significant worker empowerment legislation since the Great Depression. The PRO Act will strengthen and expand the right of workers to bargain collectively, form unions, and engage in collective action without fear of retaliation from their employers.
The PRO Act would repeal Jim Crow era "right to work" laws that lead to lower wages and unsafe working conditions.
