Rev. Dr. Barb Doerrer-Peacock led Scottsdale Congregational UCC yesterday, August 29, in ritualizing and blessing longtime SCUCC member Rev. Sandi Britton’s official retirement from active ministerial standing in the Southwest Conference.
After worship was a time of Zoom fellowship and celebration for opportunities for Sandi to speak further about her courageous and inspiring experiences as a ministry trailblazer and chaplain, as well as for those who wished to share with Sandi words of congratulations, affirmation, and/or blessing to do so.
