“This collaborative project began in the summer of 2020. Our youth, led by muralist Lauryn Mills-Bohannon, designed and co-painted our newest community art installation. Members of our Faith Formation youth group were asked to come up with a meaningful quote to add to the social justice mural and paint their quote inside the Lego inspired wall. Youth participated throughout the last several months by designing, planning, and painting while maintaining social distance. This project ties together our youth’s desire to learn about and take action to promote justice! The project was Co-Directed by Kelli Bohannon and Paul Hook. Please drive by the Southwest corner of the church on Lomas for the full experience.” See the photos in the article!
